Get Certified! - Online CPR Course
Get ready for another fun-filled NCSP river season and we always start with lots of training! We made a few exciting changes this year! Joe Bennett will be using the American Heart Association online CPR course which is the most efficient way to get certified! Your certifications have to be up-to-date for CPR, if you wish to renew membership with NCSP and continue patrolling.
All you have to do is register on-line, take one of two online courses (which are available 24/7 and may be started and stopped as you wish), print a certificate, and join Joe on Sunday afternoon following NCSP Training Weekend to complete the course by testing your skills on the Annie’s and AEDs.
Successful completion of courses requires three parts: The online course, a hands-on skills practice session, and a skills test with Joe. Joe is an authorized BLS Professional Rescuer and Heartsaver Instructor. All certifications and continued access to the website and manual is good for two years. The two courses:
CPR AED (Heartsaver® CPR AED Online Part 1 #90-1402). Total cost is $48.00 ($23.00 on-line payment and a $25.00 skills practice and testing session which includes all materials). Time online: 1 to 2 hours which covers Adult/child CPR, Adult/child choking, Adult/child AED use, and Infant CPR and choking.

If you have any problems using the new section or have suggestions for categories, please contact Troy. If you are unable to create a listing, you can also email the information to Troy for posting.
